SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) Program for Small Businesses

In response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, small business owners in all U.S. states, Washington D.C., and territories are eligible to apply for the SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) advance of up to $10,000.

As part of the recently passed CARES Act (Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act), this advance will provide economic relief to businesses that are currently experiencing a temporary loss of revenue due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This SBA loan advance will not have to be repaid.

(Note: Business Capital USA does not participate in the SBA EIDL program).

CARES Act Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) for Small Businesses

As part of the recently passed CARES Act (Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act), small business owners can get financial assistance for their payroll by applying for this program through their local business bank. The PPP loan amount can be 2.5 times your company average monthly payroll total.

Example: Your company average monthly payroll total is $10K, then PPP loan amount can be $10K x 2.5 =$25K

The PPP loan can be "forgiven" if you used it for payroll expense for 8 weeks.

(Note: Business Capital USA does not participate in the CARES Act PPP program).

Local and State Government Assistance Programs for Small Businesses

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic economic impact, many local and state governments have launched financial assistance programs for small businesses. These programs vary by local and state agencies but typically in the form of grants or low-interest loans over multiple years. Small businesses can apply for these programs in addition to the CARES Act PPP and SBA EIDL programs. Learn more about the different state and local programs available.
